Early life
Papi Ojo was born in the commercial city of Lagos in 1998. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ojo.
He is from the Yoruba tribe. He is the youngest in his family and has two siblings – an older brother and an older sister.
He grew up partly in Lagos before immigrating to the United States with his family at the age of 11.
As children, Papi Ojo and his brother Emmanuel loved to dance. They spent their free time learning and practicing new dance moves.
Some of these dance moves are learned on the streets while others are discovered while watching TV.
Education
Papi Ojo completed his primary schooling at a top private primary school in Lagos.

He attended middle school and high school in the United States and graduated in 2016.
He has not yet completed his university education.
Career
When Papi Ojo was growing up, he and his brother formed a three-man dance group with a friend, Caleb Bonney aka Ghana Boi. The group was called the AVO Boyz. The acronym AVO stands for Africa’s Very Own.
In the short time the group has been around, they have appeared in many top music videos. They also work as dance instructors, training people interested in learning new dance moves.
Papi Ojo has had the opportunity to work with top artists such as Janet Jackson, Teyana Taylor, A$AP Ferg and Big Sean.
He was also hired by Rihanna’s choreographer Tinasha Scott to teach her some dance moves.
Papi Ojo eventually rose to international fame after collaborating with Beyoncé on her album Black Is King.
He was part of the choreography team for the Spirit and Already videos. In the latter video, he is seen dancing alongside the iconic singer.
Thanks to his role in that music video, he earned a new nickname, The Blue Man. Since then, he has had more high-paying dance jobs as more artists wanted to work with him.
Apart from dancing, Papi Ojo is also a musician. He started composing music in high school and has released several singles.
He released the single Secret on January 18, 2020. The single, which is making waves internationally, received a collaboration from female artist Bemi Soul.
As an actor, he appeared in the short film Hustle Go Pay. In 2020, he starred in the feature film Privilege.
He is one of the fastest rising male models in the US and has collaborated with brands such as Addidas, Beonica Dunn, The North Face, Lulu Visions, Ashanti Beads and Calla Kessler.
