Matt has been an integral part of the show since 2018 as the “stained glass expert”. The show itself started in December 2017 and Matt has been a part of the show for almost three years now. Matt is the “go to” person for glasswork at The Repair Shop.
Matt’s job on the show is essentially to fix old windows, which are often in need of replacement rather than repair. However, many times, such items have sentimental value to the owners. So Matt often fixes windows for them.
The Repair Shop was created by Katy Thorogood and directed by Ben Borland. Jay Blades, a professional furniture restorer, will be the showrunner. The series is produced by Ricochet and airs on BBC One (Seasons 1 and 3) and BBC Two (Seasons 4 to 8). A total of 8 series have aired so far.
