Rhone Talsma will go down in “Jeopardy” history after ending Amy Schnider’s 40-day winning streak. Even Rhone was “shocked” by her win. After her win, Rhone shared, “This is my favorite show. I’m so excited to be here and I just want to do my best. I didn’t expect to be up against a 40-day champion, and I’m so excited to see someone else take down the giant. I really didn’t think it would be me, so I’m so excited.”

On Wednesday’s episode, Rhone took first place with $29,600 while Amy earned $19,600. His path to the winner’s circle was foreshadowed after he figured out the crucial Daily Double clue at the end of the Double Jeopardy! round, making the game more competitive heading into the Final Jeopardy! round (where Schneider led Talsma with $27,600 to $17,600).
