Uncle Waffles, a famous musical genius, was born in Swaziland on March 30, 2000. She was raised by her grandmother and met her parents when she was a teenager. Her parents are known as Mr and Mrs Zwane, but their names are unknown.

Career
Uncle Waffles, who started her DJ journey in 2020 amid the COVID-19 lockdown, learned her craft through online platforms and spent eight hours a day perfecting her craft. The following year, she collaborated with KreativeKornerra South African creative agency, which booked her performances and gave her the opportunity to gain exposure.
Waffles’ career skyrocketed in 2022 when a video of her dancing to Young Stunna’s music went viral. Adil went viral on social media in October. As a result, Canadian rapper Drake started following her on Instagram. Additionally, Waffles found further success with the release of her debut EP, Red Dragonin March 2022. The EP was a commercial hit, with the lead single, Tanzaniabecome a common phenomenon.
2023 saw an even more significant rise in Uncle Waffles’ popularity. Making history, she became the first amapiano artist to appear on stage at the famous Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. At the same time, her second EP, titled Madhousewas released to critical and commercial acclaim, cementing her status as a rising star in the music industry.
