Meet Veronica Tajera, Executive Producer of ABC News Dax Tajera
Veronica Tajera and her late husband Dax Tajera were married on August 3, 2019, at La Catedral de Santa Catalina de Alejandría in Cartagena, Colombia. They first met in 2013 after a mutual friend and co-worker introduced them in New York.
According to New York TimesThe Rev. William George, a Roman Catholic priest, performed the ceremony. Dax announced their wedding via an IG post with a series of photos from the day, captioned, “I love you ‘as big as the sky.’”
The couple enjoyed their honeymoon in Bali, Indonesia.
On November 30, 2020, Veronica and Dax became parents to their first child, Sofia Melffi Tejera. She weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 19 inches long and was named in honor of her Great-Grandmother. They then had their second daughter, Ella Rose Tejera, on July 1, 2022.
