In the video, the BLACK PINK member steps up to the microphone after the screen cuts out from the blurry image. As she entered the stands, she could be heard singing “so kiss me.” The audio then cuts out and the video fades to black.

However, it was what she captioned the video that has some fans speculating that she has a collaboration with Carpenter in the works. In the caption, she included three emojis: 🌙🎤💋.
Although the track pays homage to Sixpence None the Richer’s hit “Kiss Me,” the red lip emoji made fans think Carpenter would join Lisa on the song. Plump red lips are the highlight of Carpenter’s latest album Short and sweetwhere a red lip kiss mark can be seen on her shoulder on the album cover.
There are also variations of the album designed with red lips as part of the CD collection.

The addition of red lips sent fans into a frenzy in the video’s comments section, where they began speculating about the collaboration.
“LISA FT. SABRINA CARPENTER????????” wrote one person.
“Carpenter LISA X SABRINA?” another person asked again.
On X (formerly Twitter), news spread about a potential collaboration between the two singers.
One person shared: “Sabrina Carpenter is the only artist I want Lisa to collaborate with for her upcoming solo album.”

“Dear God, please let Lisa collaborate with Sabrina Carpenter and make it a huge hit,” another added.
A collaboration between Lisa and Carpenter, while unconfirmed, would not be surprising since the pair linked up when Carpenter took part in her 2023 Email I Can’t Send Tour in Europe. Carpenter shared a photo of the two after announcing the end of their European shows.
Additionally, in an interview with BillboardLisa shares that Carpenter’s song “Espresso” is on her personal soundtrack.
If the collaboration rumors are true, this will continue to be the successful year that Carpenter has had. She has scored three top 10 hits Billboard Hot 100 with “Please Please”, “Taste” and “Espresso”.
Lisa also had a successful year releasing the singles “Rockstar” and “New Woman”.
