Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown tells the story of Sargon, a warrior from a clan of immortals who embarks on a journey to rescue Prince Ghassan from the cursed city of Mount Kaf. As the Persian Empire struggled through drought and invasion, Sargon and the gods fought back the Kushan Empire, only to discover a sinister plot. Sargon’s mentor, General Anahita, kidnapped Ghassan during the festivities and led him to Mount Kaf. Trapped in the castle with his undead enemies, Sargon discovers that Vahram is the true mastermind behind events.
In order to save Ghassan, Sargon bargained with the snake god Azdah and gained power from the celestial guardian. Traveling back in time, he prevented Ghassan’s murder but lost Anahita. Wahram seeks divine power from Simug, uncovering a twisted family history. The climax is Sargon’s defeat of Vahram, who sacrifices himself to resurrect Seamog. Sargon returns as a hero, reveals the dark truth, Ghassan steps down, and the gods promise to take care of young Vahram, ending a story about redemption and sacrifice.
