Will Smith is an African American. He was born on February 25, 1968 as Willard Carroll Smith II. His parents are Willard Carroll Smith (Sr) and Carolyn Smith.
His father, Willard Carroll Smith, Sr., was a retired U.S. Air Force refrigeration engineer, and his mother, Carolyn Smith, was an administrator on the Philadelphia School Board.
