Early life
Williams Uchemba was born on 22 October, year of birth not specified in Abia State, southeastern Nigeria.
He was born into a family of six; parents and three other siblings. His father’s name was Chief Uche Mbah.
He is a native of Umueze Village, located in Obazu Mbieri, a town in Mbaitolu Local Government in Imo State, Nigeria. He has a sister named Sandra Uchemba who happens to be an actress.
After completing his primary and secondary school education, both in Abia State, he obtained his Junior School Certificate and O’Level Certificate.
For his undergraduate studies, actor Williams Uchemba majored in international relations at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Enugu State.
Career
Actor Williams Uchemba began his professional acting career in 2000.
He became a popular child actor in the industry after starring in The Journey Of The Dead, in which he starred alongside Olu Jacobs, Ramsey Nouah and Pete Edochie. This film brought him into the limelight and gave him a platform to appear in other films.
In 2003, he appeared in Beyond Belief.
In 2006, he got the lead role in the movie The World Of Riches as a smart kid.
