Best bullets for gun wizards
lightning bullet
First up are lightning bullets, which summon lightning strikes that deal 500% damage and instantly kill most common monster enemies and some mini-bosses. While it has a relatively long cooldown, we can effectively bypass this wait by equipping Lightning Bullets on all weapons and switching between them after firing a bullet, which we can if we’re fast enough Deals up to 4000% damage. We can also wet enemies with water bullets to further increase lightning bullet damage and simplify most boss fights. While this bullet is less effective against the last two bosses (Chaosbringer and Thalia’s Stareye), due to their high health, this bullet will easily get you through the entire game. I highly recommend pursuing this bullet from the Lightning upgrade path immediately.
order bullets
Just before the first one, we have the Order Bullet, which removes Chaos from the ground and creates temporary ground and does massive damage to Chaos enemies if we don’t have enough time to switch to the ground level. In fact, the Order Bullet is the go-to bullet against the chaotic and challenging final boss, which can destroy the entire path behind us. Frankly, the only two deaths I experienced in the game were due to Chaos destroying the ground around me, effectively sealing me in and preventing me from hiding.
Placing blocks with a ground layer can feel clunky and resource expensive if we haven’t unlocked the floor recipe for a given area. While I don’t recommend using Command Bullets on the Four Horsemen bosses before facing the Chaos Bringers (they don’t do any damage), they are a useful solution when fighting Thalia Stareye in tight areas where we can’t place them Method Use the Groundlayer and the excellent utility bullets to lower blocks for most of the game.
shock bullet
At the top of the list is Shock Bullet, which deals AOE lightning damage to enemies. With its high spread and rate of fire, the Shock Bullet is great for dealing with swarms of enemies, making it a great choice if our utility bullets are on cooldown. Although other bullets cause more damage, the shocking bullets can be very useful if we have difficulty aiming or want to electrocute an enemy in the water. I highly recommend using Shock Bullets in conjunction with the shotgun to extend its reach and take out groups of enemies at once. We can also lure enemies into water sources or shock them with water bombs, making a single attack even more deadly.
stun bullet
Fourth on the list is the amazing bullet, which briefly paralyzes enemies. Stun bullets effectively give us time to heal or inflict more damage to enemies, possibly giving us time to smear them with water bullets before electrocuting them with shocking bullets or freezing them with cold bullets. While this bullet has a long cooldown, it can be upgraded to increase the time enemies remain stunned, and freeze or slow enemies to extend the duration of their stun. While I wouldn’t recommend using this round against hordes of enemies, the stun round is a great tool against tougher mini-bosses and is also a great panic button if the fight gets too intense and we need to run away. I recommend that before starting a fight with a powerful mini-boss, shoot them covertly with your rifle before switching to damaging bullets to eliminate the enemy.
cold bullet
Sitting in the middle of the team is Cold Bullet, which can slow down enemies and even freeze them if they are affected by water. In addition to being able to disable enemies, Cold Bullets can also deal an incredible amount of damage, making them a great primary bullet to stick with if we want a bullet that does more damage than Shock Bullets and don’t mind losing the AOE damage. I highly recommend cold bombs and water bombs as they have a freezing effect and increased damage. Cold Bullets also pair well with Shotguns as they increase damage and can quickly build up status effects.
water bomb
Number six is Water Bullets, which do no damage but combine well with Lightning and Cold Bullets to deal more damage and freeze enemies. While I wouldn’t recommend them individually, they are great utility bullets against five riders and mini-bosses. We can obtain water by vaporizing regular and crystal ice blocks found in the frozen wasteland or by using cold bullets on wet enemies. If we like to use impact and cold rounds and utilize the Uzi to quickly inflict status effects, I highly recommend water rounds.
charm bullet
Near the middle of the list are Charisma Bullets, which recruit an enemy to fight alongside you and leave a tragic tombstone when they die. While the bullet was great for traversing the open world and convincing enemies to fight for you, we could only confuse one enemy at a time, and during boss fights where we usually fought a single opponent, the bullet was essentially useless. I recommend using charm bullets on the rifle to ensure we can safely disorient the enemy from a distance. Note that higher level enemies require stronger Charisma bullets to have an impact.
fear of bullets
Number seven is the Fear Bullet, which scares enemies away. While this bullet is a panic button for when you run out of healing items and want to go home, the low damage and health of most enemies make it less valuable. However, this bullet is also an excellent resource for scaring enemies away so you can head straight for the gear or let the teleporting Chaos enemies leave you alone. I recommend using Fear Bullets in conjunction with the shotgun to maximize the number of enemies running away from you.
flame bullets
At the bottom of the list is the Fire Bullet, which deals fire damage to enemies and incinerates enemies covered in oil. While this bullet does a decent amount of damage, from a practicality perspective it is more effective than the cold bullet that debilitates enemies and the shock bullet that fights against hordes of enemies. I highly recommend using flame bullets against powerful single targets. We can increase the rate at which the Uzi’s fire effect accumulates and the amount of damage done by oil bombs.
disease bullets
At the bottom of the list are disease bullets, which are more effective poison bullets that deal damage over time. While these bullets are great for long engagements with bosses, the low health of most enemies will make this bullet less valuable than other bullets that deal more damage and one-hit enemies. I highly recommend using the Uzi with disease bullets to enhance the status effects.
