Early life and education
Wole Ojo was born on June 6, 1984, in Lagos State, Nigeria to Yoruba parents. He is from Oyo State, Nigeria.
His parents loved watching movies, which sparked his interest and passion for acting. His mother supported his dream and took him to several auditions.
Wole Ojo completed his primary and secondary education in Lagos State in the western region of Nigeria, where he obtained the Junior Secondary School Certificate and the West African Senior Secondary School Certificate.
After completing his primary and secondary education, Wole Ojo attended the University of Lagos where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Arts.

Wole Ojo began his career as a professional actor at the age of 9. At the age of 11, he made his stage debut at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs to mark the Children’s Day celebration sponsored by UNICEF.
He has also worked on several projects with well-known actors in the Nigerian movie industry such as Tunde Kelani, Wale Adenuga, Michael Udoh, Sadiq Dada, Charles Novia, Joke Silva, Femi Oke, Lekan Balogun and Kingsley Omoefe.
He has also written and directed many stage plays, including Wale Ogunyemi’s “Lombardo”, Bode Osanyin’s “The Beer House Philosophy”, Moliere’s “The Involuntary Doctor” and selections from “Macbeth”.
Wole Ojo came to Nigeria’s limelight when he won the Amstel Malta Box Office Award for Best Non-Scripted Television Series in 2009. He starred in the children’s show “Kidivision 101” and the successful family drama “One Big Family” which aired on NTA.
He won the Best Student Actor Award at the Peak Awards 2010 and is currently starring in the M-hit Net TV series Tinsel. He is the current brand ambassador of Amstel Malta.
