World of Warcraft Dragonflight Season 2 Tank Tier List
A tier list is a ranking system used in video games to classify characters, items, or other game elements based on their strength and effectiveness. It is often used in competitive games where players need to choose the best options to succeed in the game. Tier lists typically use letter grades or numerical values to rank items or characters from strongest to weakest or most effective to least effective. The highest tier usually includes the most powerful and effective options, while the lowest tier includes the least effective or weakest options. Level lists help guide players on which options to choose in the game to increase their chances of success. However, it’s worth noting that the tier list isn’t always finalized and will change as the game progresses.

World of Warcraft Dragonflight Season 2 Tanks
Here is a description of the tank by tier list for World of Warcraft Dragonflight Season 2:-
S class

The Protection Warrior currently dominates the top Mythic+ rankings and is considered the main tank in many raid setups. In the Dragonflight pre-patch, they received significant buffs with a talent system revamp that introduced the impressive Leech passive ability and essential defensive utility. While there are no major changes to their gameplay, the new talent system makes them more versatile, giving them increased utility in their skills and passive abilities. Previously, players had to choose between a few impactful talents, but now Warriors can specialize in different ways and acquire multiple talents at the same time.
Class A
Revenge Demon Hunter
In the world of mythology + content, Vengeance Demon Hunter is a force to be reckoned with and can easily compete for S-tier status. Their superior mobility and AoE damage make them a top choice for this type of game. While their tanking power hasn’t changed much, their rotation and skill usage has been modified.
In the Dragonflight pre-patch, the vulnerability talent was a key component to Vengeance DH’s success. By stacking talents to enhance the effectiveness of Fragility, Vengeance DH becomes a powerful self-healer while still maintaining its mobility. They may not have the same level of damage mitigation as Protection Warriors, but their self-healing abilities and magic damage mitigation make up for it.
bloody death knight
Blood Death Knights remain A-tier tanks thanks to their self-healing abilities, allowing them to restore lost health rather than just mitigate damage. Their focus on self-sustainment makes them an excellent choice for tanks, especially within the Dragon Legion. However, their mobility and damage output are weaker than other classes, which hinders them from reaching top tier status. Despite this, they are still a solid choice for tanks in raids and Mythic+ dungeons.
Protection Paladin
Protection Paladins are valuable assets to the group, and they have a rich toolkit of utility to support the team. While top-tier Mythic+ keys and raids may not need their help to succeed, they are still highly sought after. While their survivability may not rival other tanks, they make up for it with their wide range of useful options.
Class B
Guardian Druid
While Guardian Druids have strong damage output and excel as AoE tanks, their single-target capabilities are lacking compared to other tanks. Players have varying opinions on their effectiveness, but they don’t quite hit the mark compared to the other categories mentioned. Guardian Druids are still a viable option, especially in Mythic+ content, but if you want to optimize your team composition, an S-tier or A-tier tank may perform better in a wider variety of scenarios.
Brewmaster Monk
Brewmaster monks have a hard time reaching higher levels due to their susceptibility to a lot of magic and bleed damage and difficulty mastering specializations. However, for players who are familiar with their toolkit and have a solid understanding of the mechanics, Brewmaster can perform well. Their staggering system is great for mitigating physical damage, but some players may not like the constant flow of damage. To excel in this spec, players must perfect their cooldown management. If done correctly, the monk can enter S-level territory.
