early life
Tien Man Wu, better known as Constance Wu, was born on March 22, 1982. She was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, United States. She is currently 42 years old.
Her father, Fangsheng Wu, is a professor of biology and genetics at Virginia Commonwealth University, and her mother is a computer programmer. Constance Wu once revealed in an interview that her grandparents were ordinary people who worked hard to grow bamboo just to make ends meet.
Wu Jinyan also revealed that her grandparents were illiterate. She comes from a family of four and is the youngest child of her parents.
