early life

Yongda was born to the Adetunjis on June 11, 1992. He comes from a Christian family.

He was born and raised in Lagos State. While growing up, he and his family lived in the mainland part of the city. He is a Yoruba boy from the Southwest State.

As a teenager, Yongda was very keen to pursue a professional music career because he discovered his talent as a musician.

He began writing lyrics in middle school, some of which were recorded as demos in a studio near his parents’ home.
