Yung Miami Disassociates Himself From Diddy, Clarifies Relationship Status Amid Allegations

City Girls rapper Yung Miami has broken her silence about her relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs following multiple allegations against him.

Speaking on the Season 2 premiere of her Revolt TV show “Caresha Please,” Yung Miami — real name Caresha Brownlee — made it clear that while several women have accused the music mogul of violence and sexual abuse, her experience with Combs was different.

“I can’t talk about something I don’t know,” Brownlee was quoted as saying by Rolling Stone. “I can’t talk about these allegations because I wasn’t there at the time. I don’t know the person, and that’s not my experience.”

Despite the emotional toll of the past months, Brownlee has stressed her commitment to her children and career, saying, “I didn’t get us this far to take it back.”

Brownlee and Combs were first linked in 2021, with Combs confirming their casual relationship in June 2022 during an appearance on Brownlee’s show. Although they were last seen together in public at the Met Gala in May 2023, Brownlee has distanced himself from the Bad Boy mogul following serious allegations against him, including a lawsuit filed by ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in November 2023.

The lawsuit, which included allegations of sexual abuse and sex trafficking, was privately settled within 24 hours.

Brownlee explained that after the allegations, she decided to step back and focus on herself.

“When all this happened, I just needed to take a break and focus on what was important, which was myself, my career and my family,” she said. “Let him deal with it and figure it out because I couldn’t get caught up in that.”

Brownlee’s statement about Diddy comes after singer Kesha announced plans to re-record her hit debut single “Tik Tok” to reflect a change in the lyrics. Originally released in 2009, the song’s opening line references the embattled producer, but Kesha has been performing a new version since March, singing, “Wake up in the morning like f**k P. Diddy.”

“The world has changed a lot, and so have I,” Kesha explained in an Instagram post. “My first child represents so many things now. It represents a strong defense of unadulterated joy and gladness, within myself and others.”

Kesha’s plans to re-record come as Diddy faces ongoing legal battles, with multiple civil lawsuits accusing him of sex trafficking, sexual abuse, and rape — allegations he has strenuously denied.
