Yusuf Buhari (born 23 April) is a prominent Nigerian businessman and politician. He is one of three children of the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, and his wife, Aisha Buhari.
Yusuf Buhari has spent most of his life in the UK. He graduated with a business degree from the University of Surrey in London and has a degree in financial management.
In December 2021, Yusuf Buhari was appointed as the Governor of Daura County. He also sits on other presidential committees, such as the economic committee and the agriculture committee.

Early life and education
Yusuf Buhari is the eldest son of Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari and First Lady Aisha Buhari. He was born on April 23, in the 1990s. He hails from Daura, Katsina State, Nigeria.
Yusuf Buhari has nine siblings: Zahra Buhari, Chief Halima Buhari, Fatima Buhari, Musa Buhari, Zulaihat Buhari, Amina Buhari, Hadiza Buhari, Safinatu Lami Buhari and Aisha Buhari. His uncles are Musa Halilu Ahmed, Modi Halilu, Usman Halilu and Hameed Halilu, while his grandparents are Adamu Buhari and Zulaihat Buhari.
Yusuf Buhari graduated with a degree in Political Science from King’s College, London. He is also an alumnus of the University of Surrey, where he studied Financial Management.
After completing his studies, he took a job in London as an analyst in the fixed income and currency department. Yusuf Buhari resigned to join his father’s administration as an economic and private sector development adviser.

The two-day wedding ceremony began on Friday amid tight security at the palace of King Bichi, the bride’s father, and was attended by thousands of well-wishers.
Career
Yusuf Buhari was appointed as the Governor of Daura. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was present at the ceremony which took place in Daura on Saturday.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Aviation Minister Hadi Sirika, Niger Delta and Science and Technology Minister among others attended the ceremony.
