Yuzuru Hanyu, an incredibly talented figure skater, was born on December 7, 1994, in Izumi Ward, Sendai, Japan. He was welcomed as the second child of his father, Hidetoshi Hanyu, who worked as a junior high school teacher, and his mother, Yumi Hanyu, who previously worked as a sales clerk at a department store.
