LaPaglia has now addressed rumors that the couple had broken up and shared that they had actually briefly “separated” amid public outcry.

Speaking with Barstool Sports about BFF podcast, LaPaglia shared that it was a “terrible” week for her.
“It was a really bad week for me,” she told Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards. I deleted all my social media.”
“I don’t want to speak for Zach, but he’s been talking about himself on Instagram. He’s just been going through a lot of personal stuff— and I feel like I’m bearing the brunt of it all, ” LaPaglia explains.

She later clarified that she was receiving a lot of backlash from the internet.
“It was a bad week when we… I mean, it was crazy. We didn’t post to each other for a week and it took the internet by storm. He’s been going through a lot. My husband and I went home and broke up.” [myself]”, LaPaglia added.
While it’s unclear whether they officially broke up during the week the couple spent apart, LaPaglia shared that she and Bryan are in a much better place now.
“We are together now and everything is fine,” she concluded.
In September, Bryan took to his Twitter account to seemingly criticize Swift when he posted a tweet that read: “eagle > frontman Kanye > Taylor who’s with me.”

The post created controversy as Swift and Kanye West’s years-long feud has spanned nearly two decades at this point. It didn’t end there as Bryan insulted Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs in his post.
Bryan received backlash from Swifties for his comments and subsequently deactivated his social media accounts. However, he returned to issue an apology to Swift.
“For the record guys, I didn’t go see Taylor the night before. I passionately compared the two records and it turned out wrong. I know there’s a lot of cover surrounding Ye and I’m talking It’s purely musical. I love Taylor’s music.” and pray you know I’m human and tweet stupid things all the time. Hopefully one day I can explain this to her,” Bryan said in his apology.
“Twitter got me into too much trouble and I said it was best for me to stay away from it,” he added.
The feud attracted national attention and commentator Megyn Kelly gave her two cents on the situation when she said Bryan was “so stupid” for apologizing to Swift and asking him “where are your balls ?”
