Zach Bryan is considering taking a step back from the spotlight and has defended his friends in the process.
The male singer posted a series of long posts on his Instagram story on January 9. In the post, he revealed that he no longer wanted to be involved with music.
“Also, all you couch warriors are attacking and belittling my friends online because you think I have a girlfriend which is weird and needs to be researched,” he wrote in a post. science”.
“Everyone wonders why I quit touring and don’t want to be involved with music anymore while you call my friends ugly and harass them?”
“I’m not asking for sympathy but going – my friends – so low and so messy? Clearly I was [had] four different girlfriends in about two weeks while my friends and I were just laughing and hanging out like usual,” he continued.
Bryan revealed that he has no plans to be in a romantic relationship anytime soon but that he has friends in his life that he cares about.
The singer previously went through a very public breakup with Brianna LaPaglia, more widely known as Brianna Chickenfry. After they broke up, she threatened to release the tapes as evidence of Bryan’s abuse.
LaPaglia threatened to post clips of the alleged abuse if Bryan didn’t stop posting his beloved cat, Stump, on social media.
In November, Chickenfry claimed that Bryan took Stump “out of spite” when he left their location. Since then, she has appeared at the Golden Globes wearing a “revenge” dress.

Bryan continued his statement, sharing that he owes it to “love, laughter, and the good people in my life” in a second post.

Among the drama between Bryan and LaPaglia emerged a diss song about the singer as well as revealing that Bryan was known as a “horrible person” in the music world.
