Zayn Malik remembers Liam Payne in Heartfelt Tribute X
Fans and celebrities are still mourning Liam Payne, who tragically passed away in October. However, Payne’s bandmate Zayn Malik has left fans and those in attendance the concert was touched by his heartfelt tribute.
On November 24, multiple posts showed the audience cheering as they witnessed Malik paying tribute to the late singer at his “Stairway To The Sky” concert in Leeds, England. The caption read “Liam Payne 1993 – 2024. Love you.”
The warm atmosphere was also accompanied by Malik’s song Stardust being sung in unison by the audience. Fans could also be heard crying in the background as the moment was both sad and touching.
On X (formerly Twitter), one person shared: “Zayn paid tribute to Liam at the first concert of his first tour, I’m crying. Liam should be there to cheer him on.”
Another commented, “Zayn’s tribute means a lot. He would take Liam with him to every city he performed (in), because he didn’t get the chance to do that. He’s keeping his memory alive. Thank you, Zayn. Liam sees everything and he’s so proud of you.”
Payne died on October 16, when the singer fell to his death from the third-floor balcony of the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Malik previously expressed his grief on Instagram: “I hope that wherever you are, you are good, at peace and you know how loved you are.”
