Things heat up as Ka-lui must prevent a series of bombings while also dealing with the kidnapping of his girlfriend, May, played by Maggie Cheung. Cheung is also one of Chan’s most frequent co-stars and has appeared in seven movies with Chan.

Police Story 2 features a series of impressive stunts, including one where Chan is seen jumping onto a moving truck and jumping into a pane of glass shortly after.
