ISLAMABAD: Weeks after the pornographic videos of TikTok stars Imsha Rehman and Minahil Malik caused uproar in the country, popular Pakistani TV host and influencer Mathira has become the latest target of privacy violation.
A video allegedly showing Mathira in intimate moments, along with edited images, surfaced online, sparking widespread discussion about violation of privacy and the ethics of sharing Share private content on social networks.
The authenticity of the video has not yet been verified.
Meanwhile, Mathira took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to address the situation, accusing detractors of fabricating and disseminating false material in her name.
“People are misusing my name and mugshots and adding fake things,” she wrote. “Please be embarrassed! Keep me away from this rubbish nonsense.”
The incident drew harsh criticism from her supporters, who condemned the spread of such content as a deliberate attack and a blatant violation of her privacy.
