He is a popular entertainer who is involved in the South African film and music industries.

early life
Anga ‘NaakMusiQ’ Makubalo was born on May 28, 1987 to Mr Musi Qaqambile and Ms Nomvula.
A few years after he was born, his family moved from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg. He is the eldest of three children, with a younger brother, Khanyiso, and a younger sister, Asanda.
As a child, Anga “NaakMusiQ” Makubalo was a sports prodigy who excelled in football, rugby, cricket and track and field.

Anga ‘NaakMusiQ’ Makubalo attended Edenvale High School in 2003. After graduation, he enrolled at Talent International and developed his skills in acting and hosting.
During this time he worked as a tutor and mentored other students. In 2009 he moved to Damelin to study Contemporary Music.

Anga ‘NaakMusiQ’ Makubalo has had a distinguished career in acting, singing and modelling. His music career began with the help of his friend Mr. Rokker Rogers who introduced him to Baainar Records where he subsequently became the lead singer.
During his time with them, he released several top songs like “Ndiyindoda”, “Move”, “Ntombi Ethandwayo”, “Crazy” and “Qina”.
In 2016, he released his own music album with Afrotainment, which contained 14 songs and was a huge success as soon as it was released.
He started his acting career with the role of MJ Memela in the popular South African TV series Generations. He has since starred in many South African TV series such as Z’bondiwe, Igazi, Ring of Lies and Isidingo.
In 2008, Anga ‘NaakMusiQ’ Makubalo was chosen to host the South African show Hectic 9 Nine and in 2015, he co-hosted the 10th season of All Access Mzansi with Mbali Nkosi.
