Biodun Okeowo was born in Fadeyi, Lagos State on December 26, 1971. She is from Remo, Ogun State.
She comes from a polygamous family and is the youngest of her mother’s five children.
Her father was part of the Awarawa Theatre Group along with film icon Jide Kosoko.

Biodun Okeowo interned at Lagos State Television (LTV 8) where her passion for acting grew.

After making her first movie, she earned the nickname “Omo Butty”.
