Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua OBE (born 15 October 1989), known as Anthony Joshua, is a British professional boxer. He holds the title of undisputed heavyweight champion.

He has successfully represented Great Britain at the Olympics, Commonwealth Games and many other international sporting competitions. Anthony Joshua began his sporting career as a footballer and did not turn to boxing until his late teens.

Early life and education

Robert Joshua and Yeta Odusanya welcomed Anthony Joshua into the world on October 15, 1989, in Watford, Hertfordshire. He spent most of his formative years in his native Nigeria. When his parents separated when he was five, his mother decided to return. His parents are Nigerian.
