Capcom’s success in transitioning the DS original to single-screen devices is evident, although Dual Destinies suffers from some minor issues with the transition to 3D models. Smooth performance and improved text localization on Switch help enhance the overall experience. However, the choice to play the trilogy in rapid succession exposed narrative gaps and unresolved plot threads that affected the cohesion of the Apollo Justice saga.
