Ardit Gjebrea was born on June 7, 1963 in Tirana, Albania, to parents Meropi and Pëllumb Gjebrea. His mother, Meropi, is now deceased, and his father, Pëllumb, served as supervisor of the Durrës Pioneer Battalion.
