Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo addressed all the crying that came out in recent interviews with the couple as they promoted their movie sinister in the premiere of the new adaptation of the musical based on the world of The Wizard of Oz.
That’s because fans on social media have been wondering about the two being extremely emotional during their interviews. In the movie sinisterTechnically Part I is cruel As the first part of a two-film saga, Grande plays Glinda, the Good Witch of the North in the musical, while Erivo portrays the blue-skinned Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba Thropp.
So why are Grande and Erivo so emotional?
At the film’s premiere in Los Angeles sinister at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion last week (November 9), the concept of a shared interstellar emotional spring came up in conversation. And while on the subject of crying, Grande and Erivo happily point out that releasing the film after so long in the making has been cathartic.
Indeed, when asked jokingly by ET about “emotions” sinister on the press tour and what it means for the durability of her lashes, Erivo joked, “I mean they can be as tightly applied as desired, but that doesn’t mean they’re won’t come off – you know what I mean?” meaning there are probably still tears left;
After all, they are not people who hide their emotions. “We are truly sorry,” Grande added in a high-pitched if not humorous tone while going back and forth with Erivo and the interviewer.
“So touching!” Grande continued. “It’s been three years, everyone. A lot has happened. Why does having feelings scare you so much?”
Ultimately, their overwhelming emotions came from happiness and joy, Grande and Erivo said together. Watch the video below.
