Armored Core 6 Wall Climb
In Armored Core 6’s “Operation Wall Climb”, players are faced with the challenge of defeating the powerful boss “Juggernaut”. This encounter requires a strategic approach to overcome its powerful attacks, particularly ground-buried explosive mines and high-speed ramming charges that can unbalance your mech.
In order to effectively defeat the Juggernaut, players must utilize vertical missile launchers to steadily accumulate stagger points. Performing an attack boost from above or behind, followed by a plasma blade combo, proves to be key to dealing significant damage. However, mines need to be avoided with extreme caution throughout the battle.
Success depends on maintaining an aerial position, dodging mines, and timing your attacks accurately to exploit holes in the Juggernaut’s defenses. As the battle progresses, with Rusty assisting in the first half of the battle, the situation changes, transitioning into a more challenging phase when the player takes on the boss alone. Adapting to the ever-changing environment and executing your aerial strategy consistently, with precise missile strikes and well-timed plasma blade attacks, are the keys to conquering the Overlord and achieving victory in Wall Climb.

How to defeat wall-crawlers and juggernauts in Armored Core 6?
Defeating the boss known as the “Juggernaut” in Wall Climb requires a specific approach. This powerful opponent has a unique attack pattern that you must be wary of:
1. Explosive Mines: Be careful not to rush into the explosive mines scattered on the ground.
2. High-speed charge: The boss can charge quickly, impacting your mecha and causing it to stagger.
Here’s an effective strategy for defeating the Juggernaut:
1. Use vertical missile launchers: Use vertical missile launchers to steadily increase the staggering distance of the Boss.
2. Perform a Plasma Blade Combo: Use attack boost to launch a Plasma Blade Combo from above or behind.
3. Watch out for ground mines: Avoid ground mines to avoid unnecessary damage.
The key to success is maintaining an aerial position above and behind the Juggernaut. While your initial instinct may be to circle around, this strategy is ineffective as bosses will evade you by turning on you or quickly moving across the battlefield. Avoiding the boss is also dangerous as it is prone to deploying destructive mines. Therefore, prioritizing airborne approaches is critical.
With a reverse-jointed leg configuration and powerful upward thrusters, you can quickly rise above the Juggernaut. From this vantage point, attack with your right-hand weapon. Start engaging vertical missiles, which have a high probability of hitting and result in staggered distances. When directly behind or far enough above the boss, you can also fire conventional missiles before the boss moves away.
Once you’re directly above or behind the Juggernaut, trigger an attack boost to quickly close the distance and perform a double-strike combo with your plasma blade. This sequence essentially accumulates staggered damage. If the previous attack was successful, the boss should be in a staggered state. Afterward, drop to the ground, let your boosters replenish, and use the opportunity to unleash any uncooled weapons.
The initial stages of the fight are relatively easy to control, as Rusty can help distract the Juggernaut. However, when the boss reaches half health, Rusty leaves, compounding the challenge. Still, the strategy remains consistent.
Keep using vertical missiles and reserve your right hand fire and conventional missiles until you reach a position directly above or behind the boss. Grab the opening and engage the plasma blade, inflicting grievous damage. Although it can be challenging to execute melee attacks due to the camera angles, you’ll get used to it as the confrontation progresses.
If you successfully stun the boss using only ranged attacks, consider saving the Plasma Blade attack until Staggered for increased damage. Although the “Juggernaut” is impressive, insisting on the air assault strategy, avoiding landmines, and using vertical missiles will inevitably lead to its failure.

Armored Core 6 gameplay
Armored Core VI puts a heavy emphasis on mech-based vehicle combat, immersing players in the role of skilled pilots controlling powerful armored cores. These mechanized units offer extensive customization potential by integrating different components, allowing players to refine and enhance their abilities.
A notable highlight of the gameplay is that players can equip their mechs with an array of weapons. Each mech features slots for mounting arm and back weapons, promoting strategic versatility and empowerment during engagements. The arena concept familiar to its predecessors continues in the form of the Combat Capability Assessment Programme.
In this mode, players can not only show off their skills but also compete with other players. Successful completion of missions will reward you with in-game currency called points. The number of credits earned is related to the assignment goals achieved, and deductions may be made for unachieved goals.
Armored Core VI differs from previous series in that it abandons the debt system. This departure removes the burden of losing money when a mission fails, leaving players free to repeat missions without worrying about losing money. This liberating adjustment motivates players to improve their performance and anticipate higher achievements without financial impact.
