Early life
Ayanda Ncwane was born on 12 August in Ndwedwe, Mission outside Durban.
She did not reveal her exact year of birth.
She lives with her grandmother because her parents are hardly ever at home.
She grew up with four other siblings (one sister and three brothers).
Education
Ayanda Ncwane attended Nombika Secondary School, Ndwedwe. During her school years, she participated in various activities, including drama, opera training, farming and scouting.

Ayanda Ncwane started her modelling career right after graduating. She competed in Miss Durban Teen and Miss South Africa Teen pageants.

Ayanda Ncwane’s acting journey and struggles were the fundamental factors that led her to Sfiso Ncwane, her “late husband”, when she was just 18 years old.
She has now founded the Ayanda Ncwane Women’s Carnival, which provides an avenue for female entrepreneurs in Durban to talk, and is also behind the Annual Gospel All-Stars festival.

Ayanda Ncwane married the late singer S’fiso Ncwane in 2002. S’fiso Ncwane was a famous gospel singer and they met at a very young age, when Ayanda was just 18 years old.
Ayanda Ncwane officially married S’fiso in 2002 and they had two children together. They were together for about 15 years before he passed away. She lost her husband to kidney disease on December 5, 2016.
In July 2020, Sfiso Ncwane’s two children, Snqobile Mzelemu and Sduduzo Dlamini, took their stepmother, Ayanda Ncwane, away, claiming they were abandoned and their father’s rights were mismanaged and taken away.
They added that Ayanda Ncwane was dishonest and wanted everything for himself.
