Born on 18 April 1977 in Pimville, Soweto, South Africa, Azania Mosaka is the daughter of Rabotapi Mosaka and Ouma Mosaka. Raised by her mother, Ouma Mosaka, after the passing of her father in childhood, Azania has two older sisters, Lebohang Mosaka and Tshidi Mosaka.
