Bad Bunny is eagerly promoting his new album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos.
To continue promoting the new album, Bad Bunny will co-host the show Tonight’s show starring Jimmy Fallon. During the performance, the Puerto Rican musician gave an impromptu performance in the New York subway system.
He played the song “NUEVAYoL” from his new album. He and host Jimmy Fallon were initially in disguise when the show began with the two men wearing wigs to hide their identities.
“Welcome to New York City, I’m Jimmy Fallon, this is Bad Bunny, he just released a new record!” Fallon said in the clip.
Debí Tirar Más Fotos received many positive reviews from critics in various publications, including Rolling Stone who gave this album a perfect score of 5 stars.
“It’s homegrown, jubilant and fresh as Benito captures the best moments from Un Verano Sin Ti and pushes the limits of his consistently experimental sound into the unchartered territory of Puerto Rican folk music and salsa,” the review states.
Despite the album’s positive critical reception, some fans were less confident in the album and criticized Bad Bunny and Rolling Stone.
Regardless, the album’s title track went viral on TikTok, allowing users to show off their lives with photos, a reference to the album’s name, meaning I should have taken more photos in English.
Although Bad Bunny is currently reaching his critical peak, he didn’t always think he would be so successful in his 30s.
“I’m young but just turned 30. I remember when I turned 20, I was depressed. I thought I was going to die. That was the end of my life. My God, I’m only 20 years old! I’m a damn old man! This is the end!” he told Zane Lowe about Apple Music 1.
“I’ve been reflecting on my whole life, my history and my whole career, as I’ve been doing all these years. I’m about to hit 10 years in the industry. And it’s crazy.” because sometimes I feel like a rookie, this is the first year for me! This is my first album,” he added.
To continue promoting Debí Tirar Más FotosBad Bunny has decided to reside in Coliseo de Puerto Rico. This will be his first time participating and takes place from July 11 to August 24 in Puerto Rico. The run will cover 21 days.
