Early life
Brandon Cole “Bam” Margera was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, on September 28, 1979, to April and Phil Margera. Jess Margera, his only sibling, is the nephew of Vincent “Don Vito” Margera.

Personal life
Margera has been married twice. He was engaged to Jenn Rivell for seven years, but the couple split in 2005. After allegedly breaking into Rivell’s home in 2006, Margera filed for “protection from abuse” from him.
Margera married childhood sweetheart Melissa Rothstein in downtown Philadelphia in 2007, and the couple split in 2012. Rothstein was taken to the hospital in 2009 by paramedics and state police after calling 911 following a four-day drinking party.
