Bandits attacked again, kidnapping the mother of musician Hausa Rarara in Katsina

Bandits once again struck fear into the hearts of Katsina state when they kidnapped Hajiya Halima Adamu, the revered mother of famous Hausa singer Dauda Adamu, popularly known as Dauda Kahutu Rarara. The incident occurred in the early morning of June 28, 2024, at her residence in Kahutu village, Danja local government area of ​​Katsina state.

According to eyewitnesses, the robbers arrived on foot and silently entered the village at around 1 am. They approached Hajiya Adamu’s house and kidnapped her, leaving the rest of the family unharmed. The robbers’ audacity in targeting the mother of a prominent figure in the community sent shockwaves throughout the area.
