Metallica performs at Fortnite virtual concert – Here’s when you can watch it

Metal and video game fans, take note! Metallica is coming to Fortnite in the next few days to perform at a virtual concert you won’t want to miss; Check out the details below including their official performance schedule.

Following recent virtual performances by Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish, Metallica was named the next musical act to perform at Fortnite Festival.

Get paid as Metal: Fuel. Fire. Anger., fans will have the opportunity to witness cast members James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich and Robert Trujilio perform as virtual versions of themselves. The event will only take place on Fortnite this June 22 and 23.

There will be six concert schedules: 2pm, 5pm and 11pm on the first day, and 10am, 2pm and 5pm on the last day. Each show will last 30 minutes and even if fans join the event late, they will still be able to fully enjoy the show.

Fans will expect high-quality graphics as the virtual concert has been customized and built from the ground up using the Unreal Editor 3D computer graphics game engine. It will be held in a virtual stage called Metallica Loot Island, inspired by their M72 World Tour set.

Epic Games describes the upcoming show as “an all-new playable concert that will showcase six Metallica fan favorites with themed gameplay that complements the intensity of a show.” Metallica live.”

Fans who receive the Festival Pass will get a free bonus track and a Premium Bonus Track upgrade to unlock Hetfield, Hammett and Trujillo’s skins. Ulrich’s outfit will only be unlocked after purchasing the Premium Bonus Track. Additionally, their costumes will be available in Lego form.

All skins will be available until August 16, 2024.

Other Metallica-inspired games will also be available such as Metallica Cup and Rocket Racing featuring the Thrash Mountain track.

In other Metallica updates, the band is still on tour for their M72 World Tour. Their next shows will be at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, DK, on ​​June 14 and 16. Their final shows will be at Foro Sol in Mexico City on June 20, 22, September 27 and 29.
