Barbara Lynn Klein, better known as Barbie Benton, was born into a Jewish family in New York City, USA. She was born on January 28, 1950. Her mother was an investment consultant and her father was a doctor.
Barbi Benton grew up in Sacramento and attended Rio Americano High School, where she took up scuba diving, piano, and even tearoom modeling, among other things.
She attended UCLA to study veterinary medicine but had to drop out due to her fear of blood. There are no details about her siblings.
