Billie Eilish and Snoop Dogg will be performing at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics this weekend.
Last month, music took center stage at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics with captivating performances from famous artists such as Lady Gaga and Celine Dion.
The closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on Sunday will also feature a musical extravaganza, this time featuring a number of musicians based in Los Angeles, the city where the next Summer Olympics will be held.
Variety revealed that the upcoming closing ceremony will feature Eilish, Snoop, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The three artists will take to the stage, representing different aspects of the city’s diverse cultural heritage.
The news agency also reported that their show will combine pre-recorded material and live performances in Los Angeles.
Additionally, People reported that HER will perform the US National Anthem at the upcoming event.

It’s worth mentioning, however, that the main attraction of the Paris Olympics closing ceremony wasn’t just the music.
TMZ reports that Tom Cruise will perform a stunt that will surpass even his most iconic movie moments.
According to the news agency’s unnamed source, the “Mission Impossible” actor will descend from the top of the Stade de France stadium while holding the Olympic flag before a pre-filming scene shows him flying to Los Angeles with the flag and parachuting towards the famous Hollywood sign.
According to an anonymous source with knowledge of the plans for the Eilish, Snoop, and Red Hot Chili Peppers concert in LA, Variety said security and crowd management measures are a top priority for local authorities.
The incident comes after three shows of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” in Vienna, Austria, were disrupted due to the threat of a terrorist attack.

In other related news, it was recently rumored online that Snoop is making half a million dollars a day for his job as NBC’s special correspondent at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Discussions about the rapper’s earnings have exploded following unverified claims made by @henrymcnamara on X, formerly Twitter.
“Sitting next to an NBC executive at dinner,” wrote user X. “He said Snoop was paid $500k a day plus expenses to be here promoting the Olympics. From ‘Gin and Juice’ to a few million dollars to be a celebrity at the Olympics — what a world.”
Despite the lack of evidence to back up these claims, fans were quick to respond, expressing their displeasure at the possibility that the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper received a much higher amount of money than athletes competing in the Paris Olympics.
