Blake Lively reacts to Taylor Swift’s concert cancellation in Vienna: ‘It’s horrifying’

Blake Lively is terrified for her best friend Taylor Swift after she discovered a terrorist plot planned for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras” tour concerts in Vienna this week.

On Saturday, an Access Hollywood interview with the actress at the premiere of her new film “It Ends With Us” was uploaded to the channel’s TikTok account. In the clip, she is asked about the thwarted terrorist threat to Swift’s performances in Austria.

Before hearing the question, Lively, 36, smiled at the reporter. However, her expression quickly changed when she heard Swift’s name.

“Oh my gosh. I mean, it’s scary,” Lively said, reacting to the news about her close friend.

However, the former “Gossip Girl” actress is still grateful that things were quickly brought under control after the terrorist plot was discovered.

“But fortunately they got it under control,” she said.

According to People, Lively and Swift, 34, first connected in 2015 after Lively referenced Swift’s star-studded “Bad Blood” music video in a social media post about her campaign for L’Oréal.

The two have since become extremely close, sharing photos of their get-togethers and voicing support for each other’s projects on social media. The “Cruel Summer” hitmaker has even featured Lively’s children with husband Ryan Reynolds in her music.

Meanwhile, Taylor has yet to personally address the terrorist plot and her canceled concert at Austria’s Ernst Happel Arena.

But following the foiled plot, security measures for the global superstar’s upcoming performance at London’s Wembley Stadium have been tightened.

The next stop on the Grammy-winning singer’s “The Eras” tour is scheduled to kick off on August 15. In an attempt to allay public safety concerns, London Mayor Sadiq Khan said the shows would go ahead as planned as the city’s authorities were well prepared to handle any issues that might arise.

Wembley Stadium has also issued additional safety protocols that will be implemented at all major events throughout the year, starting with Swift’s upcoming concerts.

Security measures are said to include a significant increase in security staff and the deployment of sniffer dogs at the venue to detect drugs and explosives. The size of bags allowed inside the venue will also be regulated so that only small bags can enter the premises.
