early life
On August 12, 2021, Mr. and Mrs. Odinaka experienced the joy of becoming parents when their son, Bobby Zee, was born. Eight days later, Mr. and Mrs. Odinaka celebrated the birth of their son and named him in a private naming ceremony filled with joy and cheers. The little boy’s name is: John Nwite Odinaka.
When Bobby was born, the Odinacas lived in Ebonyi State in southeastern Nigeria. They were an Igbo family who believed in Christianity. Therefore, Bobby grew up under the influence of Christian values and also learned the traditions and customs of the Igbo people.
Bobby Chi’s formative years were spent in Ebonyi State, where he lived in his family’s apartment where he had the opportunity to interact with children from his own tribe and other tribes. However, the nickname Bobby Chi was given to him by his close friends. The name started out as a joke, but over time, the name stuck.
Bobby Zee’s musical enlightenment began with the local church he attended every Sunday with his parents and the songs of Igbo singers he heard on the radio. Later, he began listening to American singers and some Nigerian musicians. During this period, he liked singers such as 2Baba, P-Square, D’Banj, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg and Timbaland.

After careful consideration, he began to write down the lyrics every day after school and simulated the performance in front of the mirror. Bobby Zee did not stop his creative spree and released his third single titled “Gbedu” on August 29, 2021. The song went viral and earned him more fans from other parts of the country.
He has been making media appearances and visiting radio stations in the city of Lagos to promote his latest single. On September 12, 2021, he visited the Hot FM studios in Lagos. On the same day, he was interviewed in depth by OAP Skimpy on Lasgidi FM where his fans had the opportunity to ask him questions.
In addition to making music, Bobby Zee is also a successful entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of entertainment company DexVibes. DexVibes provides A&R, event promotion, digital distribution and management services to clients across the country.
