Brandon T. Siler (born December 5, 1985) is an American former NFL cornerback who played for six seasons in the league. He is a former college football player, having played for the University of Florida and was a member of the Gators’ 2006 National Championship Team.

Brandon Siler was born on December 5, 1985, in a public health facility in Daytona Beach, Florida. He is the son of African-American parents, Mr. and Mrs. Siler.
Growing up in predominantly African-American neighborhoods, Siler and his family attended a Pentecostal church with a predominantly African-American congregation. He attended some of the top elementary and high schools in Florida.
Brandon Siler attended Maynard Evans High School in Orlando, Florida, where he was a standout player for the school’s football team, the Evans Trojans. His success with the Evans Trojans attracted football scholarships from several colleges.
Siler received a scholarship to the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he played for the Florida Gators under coaches Ron Zook and Urban Meyer from 2004 to 2006. Meyer replaced Zook in Siler’s sophomore season.

Career
During the 2005 season, Siler accumulated seven rebounds while playing for the Gators. His stellar performance in his 2006 senior season helped the Gators win the SEC Finals and the 2007 BCS National Finals.
He earned second-team All-SEC and third-team All-American honors from the Associated Press. Siler is respected by teammates and coaches for his work ethic and leadership on the field.
In 2007, Brandon Siler was drafted by the San Diego Chargers with the 240th overall pick in the seventh and final round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He started as a backup long-distance pass catcher, which earned him a spot on the Chargers’ roster.
He contributed on special teams, amassing the second-highest number of tackles on special teams. In 2008, Siler excelled on special teams, earning more time on defense. After four years with the Chargers, Siler decided to leave the club for a new adventure.
In July 2011, Brandon Siler joined the Kansas City Chiefs. However, he suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon on August 25 and was placed on the team’s injured reserve list, missing the entire 2011 season.
After recovering from injury, Siler appeared in 16 games in 2012. His contract with the Kansas City Chiefs expired after the 2012 season and he was not renewed.
