Bruce Willis was born on March 19, 1955 to Marlene Willis and David Willis in Idar-Oberstein, Rhineland-Palatinate, West Germany.

His mother, Marlene Willis, was German and his father, David Willis, was an American soldier. He had two younger brothers, David Willis and Robert Willis, and a younger sister, Florence Willis;
