early life
Camila Cabello was born in Havana, Cuba to parents Sinuhe Estrabao and Alejandro Cabello.
She grew up in the town of Cojimar, east of Havana. Her father was born in Mexico City and is a Mexican who immigrated to Cuba. She has a younger sister named Sofia Cabello.
Camila Cabello spent much of her early years traveling between Havana and Mexico City with her family.
When Camila Cabello was six years old, she moved to Miami, Florida, USA with her mother. However, her father was unable to obtain a visa at the time and did not join the family until about 18 months later.
Camila Cabello became a U.S. citizen in 2008.
