Early life
Candice Modiselle was born on May 16, 1995, South Africa. She is also the younger sister of Bontle Modiselle, another famous stage actress in the South African entertainment industry. She has another older sister named Refilwe Modiselle.
She lost her father at a very young age; she barely knew who he was. Before his death, Candice Modiselle was just a little girl, leaving her mother as the breadwinner of the family. Her father, Percy Modiselle, pursued a modeling career, while her mother, Grace Modiselle, was a businesswoman.

While working with YoTV, Candice Modiselle landed a recurring role as Lerato in Generations: The Legacy. She then made her debut in the SABC1 drama series Impilo in January 2017.
