Earlier this week, Icy Scoop News shared a now-deleted post on X, formerly Twitter, claiming that Cardi and her soon-to-be-estranged husband Offset were struggling to pay their mortgages and were at risk of losing their Atlanta mansion — a 22,000-square-foot residence with five bedrooms and 11 bathrooms — to foreclosure.

The “WAP” rapper denied the claim on Monday, clarifying that he bought the property in 2019 for $5 million and that its value has since increased to $7 million. Zillow values it at $6.5 million.

According to The US Sun, official records show that loans totaling up to $11 million have been secured against Cardi and Offset’s real estate assets in Atlanta and New Jersey over the past five years.

Of these loans, $3 million was most recently approved in October 2023. However, this short-term loan has a repayment date of October 4, 2024, meaning they have just over two months to pay off the debt.
In addition to the $3 million loan, the estranged couple, who were often on and off during their relationship, borrowed $3.575 million from Wells Fargo to buy property in Atlanta in 2019, bringing their total debt to $6.58 million.
Cardi B and Offset’s nine-bedroom, nine-bathroom home in Tenafly, New Jersey, was purchased for $5.85 million in September 2021 and is now worth $6.1 million.
Soon after, a $4.3 million loan for the New Jersey property was secured from another Tennessee lender, First Horizon Bank.

Cardi B is also going through some major life changes after revealing she’s expecting her third child.

The revelation comes shortly after news that she filed for divorce from Offset, her husband of nearly seven years.
The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker announced her third pregnancy on Instagram on Thursday, writing, “Every ending comes with a new beginning! I’m so grateful to share this with you guys, you’ve brought me more love, more life, and most of all, restored my strength!”
She also shared a series of glamorous photos of herself wearing a fiery red outfit paired with a luxurious fur coat, which showed off her plunging neckline and growing baby bump.
“Remind me that I can have it all! Remind me that I never have to choose between life, love, and passion!” she continued, addressing her unborn child. “I love you so much and can’t wait for you to see what you’ve helped me accomplish, what you’ve pushed me to do! It’s so much easier to accept the twists, turns, and challenges of life, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it!”
