The rapper took to Instagram Live on November 24 to make a stern statement in which she promised to “spank everyone’s a–.”
“I’m telling you right now, Mom,” she said. “Every n— or b–ch that mother plays with me in 2024, I’ll let you know right now. You guys better apologize to me today.”
Cardi went on to explain that her energy for 2025 will be unparalleled.
“People always say this every New Year, but this time I’m standing on it. I’m standing on the damn thing. Next year, as soon as 12:00 a.m., I’m going to hit the reset button. You Cardi added.
This intense outburst comes at a time when Cardi B is facing many personal and professional challenges. This included protesting the release of her second album.
“This has been the strangest year I’ve ever had,” Cardi shared in a social media post.
“I know next year will be my fucking year. My album will be released, my secret business will be exposed. I can’t tell you what I’m doing. Hopefully next year I will get a bit of a boyfriend; now that I don’t have him anymore, I have to settle down,” she added.
Other challenges Cardi B faced this year included divorcing her estranged husband Offset.
Cardi announced that she and Offset are expecting their third child in August of this year. The pregnancy news came a day after the couple announced they would divorce after 6 years of marriage.
Cardi revealed the following month that she gave birth on September 7.
Since breaking up, the couple has hurled a series of insults at each other online. During their interactions, Cardi continuously pointed out Offset’s “narcissism”.
While their divorce was underway, Cardi requested full custody of their children.
