Carrie Underwood endured a nasty fall during the rainy Carolina Country Music Festival finale [VIDEO]

Carrie Underwood fell off the stage at the closing of the Carolina Country Music Festival.

On Sunday, June 9, Underwood headlined the final night of the festival in Myrtle Beach and performed to a crowd of approximately 35,000. She tried to finish the show despite the heavy rain, but a new video shared by TMZ shows her falling while leaving the stage.

In the clip in question, the “Cowboy Casanova” singer can be seen stumbling a bit as she is trying to walk down the stairs towards the back of the platform.

Underwood falls through a hole, suggesting she fell off the stage after her performance.

Attendees were also heard screaming about the fall.

Despite the incident, Underwood expressed gratitude to everyone who watched the show and attended the festival.

“We won’t let a little rain stop us! We won’t let a big rain stop us either!” she captioned a carousel of photos on Instagram.

Meanwhile, fans gave her many compliments for her admirable appearance.

One person said, “Carrie Underwood and her band are truly in their own masterpiece class! Unbelievable even in the rain.”

“That crowd personally came to meet the queen and it seems she communicated very successfully,” a second wrote, while a third added, “Can we send some love Did the band keep playing in the rain? Drummer…guitarist.. it was AMAZING and I guess they fought through it too guys.”

According to WBTW News 13, the four-day Carolina Country Music Festival brought an economic impact of $50 million to Myrtle Beach.

Meanwhile, festival organizers have announced that the 10th annual festival will take place from June 5 to 8, 2025.

Following Underwood’s performance, she will attend the 2024 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony along with Kevin Bacon, Michael Bacon, Keith Urban, Andra Day, Jason Isbell, Missy Elliott, Rodney Chrome, Paul Williams, El Debarge, Cary Barlowe, Paul Williams, Trey Anastacio, Nile Rodgers and Deniece Williams.

Inductees include Timothy Mosley, Hillary Lindsey, Dean Pitchford, Peter Buck, Mike Mills, Michael Stipe, Donald Fagen and Walter Becker.

SZA, on the other hand, will receive the Hal David Starlight Award while Diane Warren will take home the Johnny Mercer Award.
