early life and education
Svetlana Veličković was born on June 14, 1973 in Prokuplje, Serbia, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, to Mira and Slobodan Veličković Daughter of Slobodan Veličković. She has a younger sister named Lidija Ocokoljić.
Sekhar attended veterinary school and completed his primary and secondary education with an emphasis on agriculture. She graduated from a high school specializing in pig breeding. Ceka is of Serbian descent, but her religious beliefs are not publicly known.

Ceca’s musical career began when she was discovered as a child by Serbian accordionist Mirko Kodić, who brought her to Belgrade to make her debut recording. She rose to fame after participating in the Iliza Folk Festival, where she made her debut with the song and received her first award “Cvetak zanovetak.”
Her first album was also titled Cvetak Zanowitakreleased in 1988, was followed by three more albums in the early 1990s: ludos (1989), my life (1990), and barbaroga (1991).
In 1993, Seka was released Kukavicamarked the beginning of her collaboration with songwriting duo Marina Tukakovic and Milan Radulovic. The album was a commercial success and the title track became one of her signature hits.
Over the next few years, she launched Ja još spavam u tvojoj majici (1994) and Fatalna Lyubav (1995), which produced several hit songs, such as “Volela sam te” and “Belgrade.” In 1996, Sekhar also starred in the film impure bloodAdapted from the novel by Borisav Stankovic.
Ceca continues success with album Mascalada (1997) and Seka 2000 (1999), which includes such “Mascalada” and “Nevar Jarra.” After her husband’s death in 2000, Sekhar put her music career on hold but returned in 2001 with an album Dessenia.
The album became her best-selling record and was followed by a European tour, culminating in a 2002 concert at Belgrade’s Maracanã Stadium in front of 70,000 people.
Over the next few years, Seka released several successful albums, including Gor O Jubawi (2004) and ideal losa (2006). Her 2006 concert in Ušce, Belgrade attracted 120,000 spectators, making it one of the most attended concerts in the world.
Ceca continues to release albums; Lyubav Zhvi (2011) 150,000 copies sold Boziv (2013) Sales exceeded 100,000 units. The latter was promoted through a concert in Uszce Park, which attracted 150,000 spectators.
Seka 2016 album “Signature Image” was another commercial success, with popular songs such as “Trepney” and “Metar odavde.” In addition to her music career, she also serves as a judge on singing competition shows Pinkov Zvezde and red star granda. Željko Ražnatović, popularly known as Arkan, is married to Serbian gangster and paramilitary leader Željko Ražnatović. They married in 1995 and have two children: Veljko and Anastasija.
After Arkan was assassinated in 2000, Sekhar became a widow. As of now, she is reportedly single after the death of her husband.
