Celine Dion surprised Saudi Arabia with her performance at the Elie Saab fashion show

Celine Dion is proving to be the queen of comebacks.

The famous singer took the stage at this year’s Elie Saab fashion show in Riyadh to celebrate the gala’s 45th anniversary on November 12. Dion was the first performer of the night and sang her classic songs “I’m Alive” and “The Power of Love.”

Wearing a yellow dress that covered her body, she hummed tunes as other models passed by. Dion even strutted down the runway while performing songs and asked the audience to leave their seats. The entire performance lasted less than 10 minutes.

Jennifer Lopez also performed at the event, one of her first performances since her divorce. The female singer performed the classic songs “Let’s Get Loud”, “Waiting for Tonight” and “On the Floor”. Her performance even included a few lines of the song “I Will Survive,” a potential nod to her divorce.

Previously, Dion made a grand return to performance when appearing at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris earlier this year. While there, she performed the song “Hymne à L’Amour” by Édith Piaf.

Dion has been battling Rigid Person Syndrome and her performance in July marked a long-awaited return to the stage after she canceled dates on her North American world tour Courage.

Accompanied by a piano and a gorgeous white dress, the female singer showed off her perfect voice with ease while belting out the lyrics.

Dion also attracted attention for another reason. The star uploaded a fun video to her Instagram on November 12. In it, she asks Siri on her iPhone to play her cover of “Hymne à L’Amour.”

Siri replied: “I can’t find that Celine Dion song, but here’s ‘My Heart Will Go On.'”

“No! Hello?” Dion replied.

After that, the female singer told her phone to try again. However, Siri couldn’t choose the song title and instead chose to play her iconic song. Dion was clearly frustrated at this point. However, everything finally worked out when Siri started playing “Hymne à L’Amour”.

“The third time is the charm,” Dion captioned the post.
