Celine Prins was born in the Dutch capital Amsterdam on August 1, 1984.
She has dual citizenship. Her mother is French, and her father is Dutch. She is therefore French-Dutch.

Scouted in Barcelona at the age of 18, Celine Prins first signed with Elite Models in Amsterdam, Netherlands. However, she only pursued a full-time modeling career when she signed with IMG Models in Paris.
