Chappell Roan looks unrecognizable in the new photo

Chappell Roan has debuted a new look.

On November 18, the “Casual” singer took to her Instagram account to post a carousel of images. Some of them feature scenes from Roan’s recent life, including her posing with some friends as well as some solo photos.

The photos include a mix of photos with makeup and some without makeup. In one of the photos, Roan appears to be recreating her album cover The rise and fall of a Midwestern princess album.

“Go fishing,” she captioned the film.

Fans were quick to praise the singer and say she looked amazing.

One person commented: “This is like seeing the backstage of the Mona Lisa.”

“Eat and drink as usual,” another wrote.

“Wait, sorry, I’m trying to figure out how to spell gorjus,” a separate Instagram user shared.

“I’M SO GAY FOR YOU,” said another.

Roan has previously been open about her anxiety with fame and how it has affected her over the past year.

In September, she sat down with face to talk about the dangers of fame and she likened it to abuse.

“This damn industry and art thrives on mental illness, exhaustion, overwork, overstress, no sleep. The older you get, the less healthy you are. Isn’t that so?” Roan speak.

“I told myself, if this gets dangerous, I can quit. Now it’s dangerous and I’m still going. But that part is not what I signed up for,” she added.

“The feeling of this — stalking, talking s— online, [people who] won’t leave you alone, yell at you in public – that’s what an abusive ex-husband feels like,” Roan concluded.

The pressure of fame has certainly weighed on Roan, and she recently abruptly canceled her appearance at the All Things Go festival. In a statement on her Instagram Stories, Roan revealed that things had become “overwhelming” for her.

“I’m sorry to everyone who’s been waiting to see me in NYC & DC this weekend at All Things Go, but I can’t perform. Things have been overwhelming these past few weeks and I’m really feeling it.” that,” she said.

“I feel pressured to prioritize a lot of things right now and I need a few days to prioritize my health. I want to be present when I perform and give the best performance possible. Thank you You’ve got it. Come back soon xox,” Roan concluded.

The female singer also previously shared that Chappell Roan is just the character she plays. During a conversation with the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles on November 7, the star – whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz – revealed why she plays the character.

“Chappell is a character,” she told host Brandi Carlile over Billboard. “I just can’t stay here forever. It’s too much.”

The male singer had a successful year when he won a series of Grammy nominations Midwestern Princess as well as the song “Good Luck, Babe!” However, she still struggled with fame.
